Day 2
We attended the School of Visual Arts film school open house and saw the studios, some work of SVA graduates, the classrooms, some of the teachers, and lots and lots of stairs.
After the open house, we took a cab to the New York Public Library—the big one with the lions out front where Ghostbusters was filmed. It was a beautiful temple of books, a peaceful retreat from the busy...
Halloween
When I got home from the airport last night, my husband was already handing out the Halloween candy he had bought like crazy—FULL-SIZED Hershey’s and Snickers bars. Back-up candy was (no, not Smarties and Tootsie Rolls) mini Almond Joys and Heath bars.
