Hubby and I live in Texas, with grown kids in California, Utah, Texas, New York, South Korea, and soon Montana. So you can expect to hear about those kids and those places, too.

Y’all, look what I got in NYC for Hannah. Yep, it’s Doctor Who in a cowboy hat, and he’s headed to her in the MTC for Christmas. I figure he’s small enough to ride along in Hannah’s book bag alongside her Books of Mormon when she gets to Korea.

I remember reading these British “annuals” over at my best friend Becky’s house in junior high. Her grandmother sent them to her every Christmas from England, along with a box of English candies. My favourites were Smarties and Peppermint Aeros. (Becky shared.)
I guess I’m going to have to have the book smuggled into the Missionary Training Center.
It doesn’t even matter that they are sold out. I’m just happy they exist.
Gearing up for a Thanksgiving Doctor Who marathon. To be closely followed by a Christmas Star Trek TOS [The Original Series] marathon of the remastered DVDs with all-new CGI (and the ability to toggle back and forth between the original cheesy effects and the new awesome ones).
