Katniss is now a Barbie. Although she is a resourceful, resilient role model for many young girls, her propensity for killing other children in a state-mandated fight to the death might be a bit more suited for an action figure with a spring-loaded crossbow than the Barbie Dream House.
Still, I’d buy one ($29.95 at BarbieCollector.com) if I had a 10-year-old to give it to.
The world will be watching.
And in my corner of the world, we will be watching it on the largest screen in Texas.

Definitely going to make the three-hour trek to Dallas to see this one on the Largest Movie Screen in America.
