Keep the blue side up

A letter from Hannah’s mission president with a picture taken on her arrival at the mission home!
“We are so excited to have your daughter serving with us here in the Korea Daejeon Mission. She is ready to go to work. We trust that your daughter will receive many blessings through her missionary service in Korea and extend to you our sincere appreciation for sending us your precious daughter. We look forward to a wonderful relationship with her and deem it an honor to serve with her at this time.”

THEY HAVE ALREADY FIGURED OUT THAT SHE IS PRECIOUS

My daughter Hannah—Sister Hurt—and her fellow sister missionaries jumping for joy that they are almost ready to leave for Korea! They’ve studied hard at the Missionary Training Center for twelve weeks (the missionaries learning Asian languages stay at the MTC the longest). They leave for Korea in five days!
Godspeed, Sisters!

Oh the peace signs, btw. That’s just an Asian thing, I thought everybody knew. Like how Hawaiians do the shaka sign. Except Asians only do the peace sign in pics, lol.

I asked my daughter why she and all her fellow missionaries studying Korean in the Missionary Training Center were always flashing the peace sign in photos. Who knew?

My daughter’s Korean teacher Brother Davis (above) told her, “God loves the Korean people. He loves them so much. If Christ were on the Earth today, He would be doing what you’re doing. But He’s not. So He sends you in His stead.”
Then he shared D&C 90:11. “For it shall come to pass in that day, that every man shall hear the fullness of the gospel in his own tongue, and in his own language, through those who are ordained unto this power [Me, bam!, she said] by the administration of the Comforter, shed forth upon them for the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

My missionary nametag! It says “Yaysoo Kareesuhdoh Hoo-gee-sohng-doh Kyo Whay,” (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).

My daughter’s missionary nametag. She’ll be in the Missionary Training Center learning Korean until January 2nd when she will take Daejeon, South Korea by storm.

I advise all of my LDS followers to watch this :)

dying.

Well, wouldn’t that have been hard to explain to their mission president if they’d wrecked the car? Good thing these two have better luck than Dallin!

ROLLING, by the way. This is the most hilarious “missionaries goofing off” video I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of them!

I now expect to see a video like this when Mike gets home! XD

I just died.

Ohhhhh my goodness this is freaking hilarious.

Oh man, I really hope I have cool companions.

Loved this. Men are that they might have joy!
